Deadline for submissions is May 10.

Seattle Hempfest is now accepting submissions in the form of demo packets from musical performers, DJ's, and other artists wishing to show their support for the cause. Each year hundreds of submissions are reviewed as acts are considered for Hempfest's multiple stages.

So that we may give everyone the best consideration we ask only a few things...

  • Please make sure your contact info is clearly marked on your materials (even on the actual tape or CD if possible).
  • Hempfest receives an overwhelming volume of demos each year. Our music selection committee considers many factors when choosing our entertainment, and the process is long and tedious. Please do not call or e-mail Seattle Hempfest asking if you have been chosen. Our deadlines and schedule dates will be posted on this page, as will confirmed acts. Calling or e-mailing us will not make the process go any faster. All acts submitting demos will be contacted by Seattle Hempfest as soon as decisions have been finalized.
  • Although Hempfest is primarily a very serious political rally, we take pride in offering the largest outdoor selection of free Pacific Northwest (and beyond) entertainment and musical support. We provide professional quality backline, complimentary hospitality and as great an audience as any, as well as an opportunity to be a part of history while supporting an important cause.
  • No act should consider not being selected as indicating that we didn't like your submission. There is a large list of criteria that the selection committee considers and we only have so many slots for each genre/style. Other factors considered are name recognition, experience, locale (out of state bands often cannot travel) etc. If you are not picked we encourage you to send us a demo next year.
  • Unfortunately Hempfest can not return submissions.
